What To Do If You Have Too Much Homework And Not Enough Free Time


We have all been there. Suddenly finding ourselves in a situation where we either haven’t planned our time properly and how find ourselves with homework coming out of our ears or have a party to attend that we absolutely cannot miss. The question is just how do you deal with a situation like this? Do you become a recluse while you knuckle down and clear that mountain of homework that you are buried under or do you make an executive decision and draft in some help?

I would suggest that getting some kind of help would be the sensible idea!

  • Ask for an extension

    You can always ask your professor for an extension. Assuming that you are not a serial offender and that your professor is human then you may get lucky, and they may agree. This is not a card that you play all the time though and by asking you are throwing yourself at the mercy of their good nature.

  • Don’t do it

    Yes, I know that this probably isn’t the smartest of options. However, it is still an option! Clearly, failure to hand in your homework is not going to go down very well BUT there are certain circumstances where you might just get away with it.   • Beg your best friend to do it for you

And a problem shared…If you do choose to go down this road make sure that you don’t totally abuse your friend’s goodwill. Treat them to something small, offer to do some of their homework in return. The key here is to remember that there is no such thing as a free ride in life.

  • Pay someone to do it

    Okay, so be in no doubt that you are now in the realms of cheating. However, as with everything there are some grey lines. If the homework is just regular stuff, then there’s no real harm done. If, on the other hand, it gets counted towards an overall grade or final result then you could find yourself in a whole load of hot water if you are to get found out. If you are going to hand over hard currency, then you also need to be absolutely certain that whoever does it is going to do a damned good job.
